What do I need to apply for car finance?

The essential documents you need include:

  • Proof of identity, such as a valid UK driving licence or passport
  • Proof of address, such as a recent utility bill, bank statement, or council tax bill
  • Proof of income, such as recent payslips, bank statements, or SA302 if you’re self-employed
  • Bank account details to set up a direct debit
